NAPE UAP LEADERSHIP FORUM PDF Print E-mail

The 10th NAPE - UAP (University Assistance Program) Leadership Forum was held at The Dover Hotel, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, from 19th to 21st February, 2010. The event attracted about 100 participants comprising Chief Executives, top explorationists from the Petroleum industry and academicians from  various institutions. The Theme for the forum was "Developing Nigeria's Educational System - Harvesting Unconventional Strategies".

FEBRUARY TECHNICAL MEETING PDF Print E-mail
The February 2010 Technical/Business Meeting was held on Wednesday, 24th February, 2010 at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs 13/15 Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. The topic was "WALKING BACK  THE NIGER DELTA SLOPE - ARCHITECTURE AND RESERVOIR PRESENCE IMPLICATIONS" and the Speaker was Messrs. Tony Akpi.

The 5th NAPE Mini-Conference 2010 for Tertiary Institutions is coming up 6th to 9th May, 2010 at the University of Ilorin Permanent Site, Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria. The theme for the conference is "Empowering Geoscientists with Entrepreneurship Skills". Lead papers will be delivered by Engr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma, the Executive Secretary, PTDF and Mr. Osagie Okunbor, VP Human Resources, Shell Upstream International Sub-Sahara Africa.

The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists has over 5500 individual members and about 90 supporting corporate members. There are three regional chapters in addition to the Lagos Headquarters. These are Port Harcourt, Benin and Warri chapters.
