NAPE Summer School 2026: Day Three Successfully Concludes as Three-Day Programme Comes to an End

The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) successfully concluded the NAPE Summer School 2026 on Friday, 11 September 2026, bringing the three-day intensive programme to a successful close.

Day Three provided participants with a strong practical conclusion to the programme, with the session facilitated by Cornelius Animba, Service Lead/Principal Information Management & Platform Technology Consultant, Landmark, Halliburton. The session provided participants with hands-on experience applying AI/ML models and working with a range of digital and computational tools, including Anaconda, Python, Jupyter, ChatGPT, W3Schools, RapidCanvas, Coursiv, and other relevant platforms. This hands-on approach further reinforced the progression of the Summer School, from foundational concepts and industry applications to practical implementation and experimentation.

A significant highlight of the final day was the closing session, which featured remarkable closing remarks from the NAPE President, Mrs. Olajumoke Cecilia Ajayi, FNAPE. In her closing speech, the President reflected on the significance of the programme and its contribution to strengthening professional capacity and preparing members to engage effectively with the rapidly evolving digital landscape of the energy industry.

The successful conclusion of the program certificates were presented to all participants by the NAPE President and instructors, while the instructors were recognised with commemorative award plaques and souvenirs in appreciation of their contributions, expertise, and commitment to the success of the programme.

NAPE sincerely appreciates the instructors, participants, partners, leadership, and organising team whose contributions made the 2026 Summer School a successful and impactful programme.

With the successful conclusion of Day Three, the NAPE Summer School 2026 has come to a close.
